Another Spring Flight

i tried this layout a couple cards back and really enjoyed it. so this time, i used mostly scallops. everything is scalloped except the DP paper. i like how this card turned out.

images were colored with prismas, gamsol, and SU markers. then i added stickles for highlights.

clouds were done with a cloud kit by great impressions.

circle scallops were cut with nesties. stright scallops were cut with an SU scallop pumch.
bottom left circle scallop: prismas, brad, MS fern punch, 1 3/8 circle punch.

Spring Flight
oh how i wish it were warm out. again today its -20 something. YUCK! at least i got today off again. yay!! heehee
was up early this morning, got right to work, and this is one of the cards i made!

Fishie Scene!
high hopes challenge 21!!
i colored this scene awhile ago at work. needed to get it on a card, so this was what i came up with...
the fish and scene were colored with prismas and gamsol. fish was highlighted with stickles, and also around the square. brads were used as bubbles.
the corral was cut with a cuttlebug. blue paper was punched with an MS punch, light blue paper was cut with scissors.
light brown scallop square was cut using nesties.
stickles were used in the background as bubbles.

an african afternoon

high hopes challenge 21

so its -35 here, which the windchill. brrr!i really really wanted to make a "warm" feeling card. what better than an african card? boy, i wish i was in sunny africa today. luckly i have today off and have no means to go outside. heehee

this card was made for the high hopes challenge 21: zigzags
the blue sky was cut with zig zag scissors. grass was punched with an MS punch.

images were colored with prismas and gamsol.

stitches were made with an "in stitches, by Bazzill" template. i threaded that with raffia.
clouds were made with a cloud kit by great impressions.

HH challenge 20!!
here is my entry for the high hopes challenge 20!! found this fuzzy paper on my last travel to a scrapbook store here in cowtown. i thought it would be perfect for this challenge. and looking at the card now, it looks like i made faux fuzzies on the snowladies white part on the hat and coat. yay!!hope you like!!!

Kitty Sympathy

made this card for a friend who had to put down her poor old sick kitty. he was 16 years old. they were really super close. i have a 12 year old cat and couldnt imagine putting her down, or her ever leaving me. sooo i thought it would be a good idea to make her a sympathy card.
